Initial environmental examination (IEE) of Sarre Sota storage irrigation sub-project and initial environmental examination (IEE) of Chepe Khola storage irrigation sub-project

The proponent Mega Dang Valley Irrigation Project under Department of Water Resources and Irrigation and Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation, proposes for the utilization of the water resources of Sarre Sotta and Chepe Khola. The main objective of the study is 

to identify the physical, biological, socio-economic baseline, 

to recognize the site specific issues

to identify positive and adverse impacts and the mitigation measures of the project

to prepare outline for the environment management plan, including monitoring plans and inform and aware concerned parties about the environmental implication of the proposed project.

Description of Services:

• Interact with MDVIP Dang officials and visit to the site
• Prepared plan of activities
• Preparation of ToR
• Produce detailed cost estimate for mitigation measure
• Prepare draft and final report of Initial Environmental Assessment
• Conduct report presentation and interaction meetings at concerned departments and ministries
